The sky was grumbling as the dark clouds gathered in a swirling motion. Brandon gazed up into the eye of the storm as the raging wind blew. Under his black glasses, the color of his iris swirled in black and white just like being pulled into a whirlpool. He felt at peace as the heaven was split apart by a flash, and a lion's roar followed. He stood there, on a grassy knoll as he released his anguish in the forms of thunders and lightnings.

Malachi had seen the dark storm from the school. More, he felt the aura. What's my little neophyte up to?
Malachi went up to the top of the mountain in less than thirty secconds, and watched Brandon from the shadows. Looks like my little neophyte has some pent up anger... Why not... help him work it out?
Malachi materialized in the storm, walking calmly in the chaos. "Hello, my neophyte."

The boy turned at the direction of the voice, his 'eyes' focused on the black shadow in the waving forms of the trees, in between the rustinlng sounds of the leaves and the growls of the angry sky. His eyes narrowed as a thunder boomed, needles of rains began to fall from the sky.
"Malachi... Get out from my sight..." The boy told the approaching figure as he held his head with his hands as he tried to clog the anger that was trying to rush up and descimate the whole place around him. He shouldn't have questioned himself... the results was the eruption of his ire, his indignation.
What did I do to deserve this? He asked himself that few days, and the answer was apperant to him then. Nothing. The d**n governments started a war... and we are the by products... We are infected because of their insolence. We became the way we are because of the destruction someone else caused... We became scapegoats. The words flowed into his mind as the symphony of light and chaos continued.
And now we are hunted... Now we are unwanted... They damned those who helped us into their deaths... Do you not want justice? Do you not want judgment to those who did this to you? Do you not want those who did this to you to feel your eternal wrath? Do you not want to let them feel the pain? The fear?
Do you not want vengeance?
"Go away, Malachi... Not now... leave me alone..." A lightning streak blasted just steps in front of Malachi, sending burnt grass and gravel rocks up into the air with a loud, fiery explosion.

"Such insolence..." Malachi smiled slightly, but Brandon could not be sure if the smile was directed at him or the chaos around them both. Malachi sunk into the shadow world, where the temptress was mimicked. Using sheer force of will, Malachi compacted the cloud's shadows togther, forcing the actual, dark storm clouds to converge over Brandon's head. The entierty of the storm was now focused on Brandon.
"Why don't you call out another of those lightening strikes? I'm not sure it'd be so easy to avoid..."

"Don't you... mock me..." Brandon could barely yell out at the midst of the pandaeminium. Somehow, he couldn't see Malachi, or the world around him. Complete darkness surrounded him as he felt the powers raged on within him as he tried to surpress them together with his anger. If the storm was his anger manifesting, then what was the rain?
Several lightning shot from the sky and struck around Brandon without considerations. The blue eletricity bolts barely missed the boy, but he didn't care about it at all. He was lost.

Malachi watched as the lightening bolts struck around the boy. "So eager to throw my words back in my face, arn't you? So eager to prove to yourself... or is it to her? that I'm the bad one here. You're angry. You want to fight, to destroy something with your own strength. You want it so badly that soon, if this little temptress does not abide your wrath, you will begin to hurt yourself."
Another bolt of lightening struck the ground near Brandon, breaking and warping the rock at his feet with it's heat. In the moment of pure darkness one sees in that solemn instant between the flashes of lightening, Malachi appeared back in front of Brandon. A few polite feet's distance stood between them.
"Tell me, if she was here, would this storm abate? Would you calm the downpour, darken the sky, and quiet your thunder? Could you manage to put that anger aside if she was here?" His words were calm, calculating, and like icey water sliding from between his two grinning lips. His eyes, ever watching, did not blink when the thunder rang across the sky, nor when the lightening flashed. "Or, perhaps, you would use her as an outlet for your fury. Tell me, would you yell blindly in her direction? Questioning her actions in this situation or that? Would you do more? Would you turn this storm upon her? Would you strike her with your lightening? Or maybe you'd prefer to use your cane."
He paused for a moment, to wait for a reply.

“Shut up!” He yelled furiously at the mocking shadow as the thunder bolt in front of him started to dissipate. The storm only grew stronger and the wind swiped over the forest like the monsoon storm had just descended. A rabbit could be seen scurried back into its burrow, and shortly after that a crackle of lightning blasted the top of its humble home. As the dust settled down, the brown-furred one could be seen hiding deep within its home, refusing to budge even though its burrow had been blown wide open by the electricity.
“Tell me, if she was here, would this storm abate? Would you calm the downpour, darken the sky, and quiet your thunder? Could you manage to put that anger aside if she was here?” The words replayed within his mind like a recorder being set to ‘loop’. His cane reappeared within his hand, a cane made out of pitch black darkness with an end so fine and sharp that it seemed to pierce through the air as it formed.
“Just… shut up…” His voice weakened as the logic pulled him back to the edge of insanity but the storm showed no sign of abating. Another voice entered his mind. “Then it would be alright to forgive the world? Had you forgotten, then… The way how they pushed your mother onto the cold floor and hacked her head off with their weapons? The way how they pierced your father’s heart with one of those harpoons? Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten?”
“I haven’t… forgotten yet… but this is different…” He spoke to himself in a voice so soft that it was almost inaudible in the raging storm. Then, weakling... What are you doing now? You are definitely not doing anything. Just for a slight moment, a split second, he thought he saw himself smiling… with a pile of body under his feet. Many of them were familiar figures…
“No!” Another lightning blasted just in several meters away from him as he regained his sight. Somehow, the face of Malachi… soothed him. For once, the Shadow’s presence was reassuring, not threatening.

"But, why question what is not reality? She is not here now, is she?" Malachi saw the tale-tale signs of internal conflict on Brandon's face, he saw it all too often in Cristina to not recognize it. But he chose to ignore it. "Instead, you find yourself confronted with me."
Malachi began to walk foward slowly, his hands behind his back. "Tell me, my neophyte, what will you do to me, now that we're alone?"

"I don't know." The boy answered truthfully. He was so sure in the past, that his sole goal other than protecting Tribe, was to destroy the Shadow. The one that had been tormenting both of them for so long... but now he wasn't so sure about that. He wasn't sure of anything. "I... don't know..." His cane fell onto the ground as his grip on it loosened.
Then what now?
"What do you mean?"
Will you uphold your so called Justice? Will you uphold your so called Fury? Or was it just raw desire of destruction that drove you alive until now? It wasn't the desire to protect, was it?
He looked into the eyes. He did not remember how his eyes looked, but to him, he could see the two glowing eyes in his darkened sight. The storm continued raging...

I was just going to ignore it... Malachi thought bitterly, refering to the way Brandon had began this tiersom habbit of talking to himself. But I will not abide this... this mockery of something he can not fully understand.
Taking two swift steps foward, Malachi hit Brandon across the face with the back of his open hand. He stood calmly in the storm as Brandon flew seven feet across the mountain top.

The first thing he remembered was the voices, then it was the sharp pain that pulled him back into reality... and into the empty air. Just before he hit the damp, hard earth, he summoned a huge gust of wind that allowed him to black flipand back onto hiss feet. He felt the sweet blood in his mouth... and he craved for it...
"Malachi... you decided to play with my mind too?"

"Yes, a mind is a place where you are all alone, if you choose, but..." Malachi stalked foward. His voice was the only sound her could hear, besided the deep thumping of Malachi's dark shoes on the mountain's stone. Malachi's edge of his form was ragged and sharp. "...I will not tolerate this. A mind is a place where you are strong![/i]" With his final word, Malachi knocked Brandon roughly on the ground with his shadow hands. "I don't have any use for a weak thing."[/color]

As the hand slammed Brandon onto the ground hard, he coughed out blood, and his lips blossomed into a bloody smile. The wind almost immediately stopped, the clouds dispersed as the full moon reached the two with its silver ray...
"A mind is where one should be strong... I understand..." The voice came out from his throat was hollow, like a ghost's whispers, a wind blew through an empty tree trunk. He flipped himself on, and his eyes became pitch black... became like Malachi's... "I was afraid of myslef. I was afraid that I would become like you..."
"And now I discovered comprehension in all of this."

He didn't smile. He didn't have any emotion written on his face. Just... blank. "He is afraid of losing Cristina... He is afraid of becoming you... more improtantly... he is afraid of himself." His white eyes slowly shifting into different colours... like a whirlpool of dancing lights...
"You understand, don't you?" Another's voice layered upon Brandon's, like two people talking at once.
[OOC: Ahhh! Crappy plot twist! It's another Malachi! *shot* Just kidding.]
