(No. No Multiple Malachi's. The world is bad enough with one of them. >XD But I thought up of a really good plot twist... and then forgot it! I'll tell ya if i remember.)
d**n it... I wasn't expecting to have to deal with this too. What a pain...
"Then maybe you should grow up and abandon your childish fears." He refused to acknoledge that Brandon had split into more that one person, or something to that affect. "No, I don't understand. If you're afraid of loosing her..." The hands raised again, grabbing Brandon by the arm and slinging him into a tree. "Then become strong to protect her!" He continued walking foward. "If you're afraid of yourself, then learn to know yourself!" The tree cracked in half, falling onto Brandon's limp form. "And if you're afraid of becoming me..." Malachi's voice lowered. "You could never be like me. Because you'll always give in. Just like you did to what ever it is that's in your head." He pulled Brandon up out of the splintered wood. "Just like you did when I made you blind. You gave up on Cristina then. You gave up on her because you were afraid of me. You gave up and left her." He dropped Brandon back down, letting him dash into the splintered wood.

[OOC: I was just kidding. Plus, it's time to let the devils loose. ^_^ Ever wondered why did he have so much hate in the first place and can sometimes have contradicting personalities?]
"True. He was always afraid. But it was not because of fear and submission that caused us to exist, you see." The words came out from his mouth as he smashed onto the woods. "We were always there... We were always watching... Long before you came along. Let's just say that we are considered the 'inner' hims. Illusions in the collective unconsciousness." He closed his eyes, and slowly raised up with a strong current of air supporting him, pushing him.
"Don't waste your breath, Malachi. We'll let him go when we want and you do not command us. Either way, it was you who came and mess things up just now. Things would have gone just fine without your interference."
"We all look forward in witnessing your true power, Malachi. Now..." A black cane formed in his hand as he moved backward in a graceful manner. "Show us, Malachi." And the cane suddenly expanded with such speed that, in a blink of an eye, became a 6-foot pole with a very sharp end, which slowly blossomed into forks, making it look like a black trident... so black that even the night seemed to be lighter than its color. Without warning, the boy directed a straight, horizontal slash at Malachi with a smile.

(I'm really sick of the whole "I'm-not-in-control-of-my-own-actions" plot. Tribe is gonna get better really fast because this characture development pattern is getting stale. I've done it. Lili's done it. And now you're doing it. LAME! Is this really what you wanna do to Brandon?)
Malachi grabbed the cane with one hand, and two shadow hands. With a quick jerk, he bend the cane slightly at an angle. "And just what did I enterupt?" he asked calmly.

[After a lot of thinking... I'll change this post. Yeah, I sort of enough of that kind of twist anyway. Enter the two 'mysterious' figures!. BTW, they're not repeating characters.]
The trident-like cane vanished and Brandon's body reacted like a martial artist would, a quick punch towards Malachi. Before the impact, his punch stopped in mid-air, just a few centimeters away from Malachi's face. Then the body was suddenly jerked back, in a swift motion, he was there. Then he wasn't. Brandon's body froze in midair as he looked at Malachi, and a woman sitting on a black wheelchair appeared in mid-air, forming out of the misty particle. Her long silvery hair were tied properly, but her face bore a silver mask with only two openings for her eyes. She was dressed in a flowing, white dress. Her face turned towards Malachi.
"We have made our presence known to you, Malachi." The voice came from both the woman and Brandon's throat. "Your intentions are irrelevant, but we enjoyed. Tell us, Malachi... Tell us. As the Shadow, what are you interested in? Why Brandon? Why do you not just cling to Cristina like the shadow you are? Brandon is our subject."
Another man appeared somewhat far behind him. He was in a black coat, but he too was wearing the same white mask as the other woman. Even his hair was pitch black, and his slender but short body gave him an illusion of being frail. He waved his hand in the air, a circle of white light appeared from under Malachi, imprisoning him as the circle became a tube like structure, trapping him from the outside.
"As masters of his subconscious, you think we would let you mess with our experiments?" The man's voice was deep. He looked at Brandon's body, who was twitching as he was held in the air. His eyes began to recede into the dull gray they were. He was fighting for control, but he was fighting a losing battle.

(I'm making up names for them since you didn't! >XDDD YAY!)
Malachi looked at the pair with contempt. He thought he recognized those voices, though it'd been nearly 8 years since he'd last had to deal with them.
"What an unplesant suprise. You should know it's bad manners to drop in unexpected. You haven't given me any time to make preperations for you..." Had Cristina been there, she would have wondered why he was using such formal speach for people he obviously disliked.
"So you'll have to forgive me for being a bit inhospitable," he looked at the strange pair in the silver masks. "Genivieve and Andonivan."
(((I went in the theme of Malachi's name. Do you think they fit? They're names of other charactures of mine. Pronounced: Genivieve "Gen - A - VeeVah" and Andonivan "An - Don - Ah - Ven" Genivieve is an actual name, but Andonivan I made up.)))

(((It's okay. Genivieve (Genevieve?) sounds nice, and Andonivan sounds just like evil to me. They fit, but now we have four more names to use. The fun, the fun. XDDD)))
"Eight years, Malachi. You left the council then, but we will not blame you. After all, we know." The woman talkes through her own throat then, her voice hollow like thwe wind. But her body didn't move, she just sat there as her long, flowing fair followed the wind. Her green eyes looked at Malachi, then with a snap of her fingers, Brandon float towards her, her finger touched the boy's face as she forced his soulless eyes to look into hers.
"Genivieve." The man calmly told her as he let out a yawn. "We are here only to check on stuff. No need to get so excited." He turned to Malachi. He used to admire his strength, but even that admiration had faded into nothingness. He almost forgot hmself then, but then again.
"We wouldn't have expected you to turn up anytime soon, to tell the truth." He contnued on.
Genivieve smiled as she pushed the boy away from her. "I know who he belongs to, but he does not. Now, Malachi. Serve this as a warning from the council. Even after you left, we continue to grow stronger and stronger. You wouldn't want all six of us chasing after you, would you?"

"Six?" Malachi questioned. "There was only four of us, including myself, when I left. You mean to imply you found the final three?" Malachi had always thought that the other three vices to be dead, but in the time he'd spent in the council, he'd never confirmed that. In his current form, dispite it's flaws, he would have been able to take both Genivieve and Andonivan easily... But now they both had forms of their own, or so he thought. They might have discovered powers of their own, just as he had his.
"Luxuria, Gula, Avarita, Acedia, Ira, Invidia... Superbia." He spoke out their true names. He knew it would hurt them to hear it, just as it hurt him to say it. He had to pause when he came to his own name, fighting the pain. "How did you find them? Or did they come to you? I'm sure you indoctrinated them into your little council just as fast as you could."

The two stay silent for a while. Hearing their own true names being whispered out like that... it was definitely not in their own interest. "We were never alive in the first place, Malachi. Or had being human corrupted your mind more than you have thought?" The woman asked him in her sing sang voice.
"Back to the question." She sighed. "Unlike you, Malachi. The three reanimated as we always did. Albeit in a different form, their memories were still in place. They returned to the council." She snapped her fingers in the air again and she disappeared. But she soon reappeared besides the other man. As for Brandon, he fell onto the ground like a broken puppet.

Malachi didn't reply, but his eyes followed as Brandon's limp form fell to the ground. Before it hit, he sent up the shadows to grab the boy and pull him closer. But he kept the boy at a distance, unsure just how strong Genivieve and Andonivan's hold was on him was.
"I can tell you've not chosen my path by those discusting masks... What do you want him for?" Malachi asked them, glareing into the hateful silver.

"It's not what we want that's matter. We were merely experimenting on him. You see, apart of a certain someone was somehow... missing..." She started with her words, and her figure flickered in the midnight light, and disappeared. The remaining man sighed as he turned around. He was quite sure Genivieve wouldn't comeback any sooner. She have some problems with the council itself anyway.
"I better tell you things you should know, Malachi. A token for our old friendship." He told him in a whisper as he deactivate the light surrouning Malachi. "He is coming, together with another. They are two of the three that had awakened from their sleep, but their powers alone had exceeded mine, even though not yet fully 'awakened', so to say."

"Andi..." Malachi said Andonivan's nick-name softly with the flickering of an old grin between friends. He repeated the last words he'd ever said to Andonivan. "Leave the Council..."

The man grinned under his silver mask as he took it off, revealing a man of chinese origin. His black eyes gazed at Malachi with regret. "You know my answer, Mal. My task was still not yet done. Who knows, we might be the only one who can hold our sanity after this ends."
"The 'Virtues' are on the move as well. Watch out for them. They may named themselves so, but we all know that what they do contradicts what they preach." He put his mask back on, and looked out into the far horizon. "Now, I must go. The sun is rising and I don't even have my 12 hours of sleep..."

Malachi watched sorrowfully as Andi left. That grinning face was burnt into his retinas, he could never forget it.
"The Virtues... dear god..." Malachi wispered, ironically as he lifted Brandon's body up off the ground. He started back down to the school, his heart darkening as the sky lightened.

The boy started to stir. He could hear the conversation Malachi have with the man and the woman... but he felt like... somehow... a familiarity? He couldn't understand... That's the problem he didn't understand. He slowly opened his eyes... Though he still couldn't see. But was half expecting a miracle.
"What happened... I feel so confused... so dazed..."

"Not that I expect you to, but try to go back to sleep. It's been a long day and we all need some rest. We'll join tomorrow... well," he pause, realizing it was already tomorrow. "..we'll talk, about it later. For now, just try to regain some strength. You've been through alot today."
