Feuer felt Jade tense up, he reached out for her hand but she withdrew it
Jasmine had known what was going to happen, she decided to let it happen. Stepping forward she placed her hand on Tribe. "Calm down, Tribe, just relax, don't over exert yourself."

"What... the...F**K?!" Tribe yelled, jerking away from them both. She struggled so violently that she fell off the table.
Quickly recovering, Tribe ran as far away from the both of them as she could, and ended up backed into a corner opposite of the door, her only escape.
"What's the matter with you?!" she screamed, her voice getting high-pitched. "Don't you know who he is?! DON'T YOU KNOW WHO HE IS?!" She was on the verge on hysterics. "HE TRIED TO KILL ME! HE TRIED TO KILL EVERYONE!!! AND YOU'RE JUST GOING TO LET HIM WALTZ IN HERE AND DO IT AGAIN?!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?"
"Cristin-"
"SHUT UP! SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU MONSTER!" Tribe's eyes scaned the room, her panic more than apparent. Without warning, she fled into the shadow land, trying to get out.
Malachi saw the girl running through the shadow world, though to others, she appeared nothing more than a dark blotch of shadow slidding towards the door.
Without thinking, Malachi acted. Anger welled up inside him. She was trying to run from him. And he wasn't about to let her go.
Jumping up off the table, he reached for her, his hand delving into the shadow, becoming shadow itself. He pulled back, his black hand clamped around a pale wrist.
"LET ME GO!!!"
Malachi lifted her out of the shadow world, and pulled her over his head. He tossed her down onto another pristeen, white cot. She screamed as he bound her to the table with the cot's shadow.
"LET ME GO! LET ME GO, DAMNIT!!!"
"I'm just going to sit with her here, untill she calms down," Malachi flashed the others a grin. "Feel free to go if her screams start making your head ache."
"DON'T LEAVE ME! DON'T LEAVE ME WITH HIM! HE'LL KILL ME!"
"I assure you, Cristina, that is the farthest thing from my mind," he said, settleing down in a chair next to her bed as she screamed again.

Jade stood up, she couldn't stand it anymore. Bright light filled the room, all teh shadows disappeared except for a circle of dark around Tribe. "STOP THIS!!!" Turning to Jasmine she started shouting. "SEE HOW SCARED SHE IS, HOW CAN YOU TRUST THIS BASTARD?"

How dare that foolish girl try to defy my wishes?
But, Malachi, trying to stay on these people's good sides, for now, tried to find some human reason. He bit back his angry words, even though he began to pulse with a dark aura. Thit room is to bright....
Tears ran down Tribe's face as she struggeled against the shadowy bindings. "YES!" she cried out when she heard Jade's words. "YES! YES! YES! PLEASE! HELP ME!"
"Need I mention," Malachi spat out angerly, his head begining to pound from the intense light and Cristina's screamings. "...that this girl suffers from dillusions and hallucinations?! I'm not trying to hurt her, no matter what she believes! rrrrrrrRAH!!!"
With an agrevated flick of his wrist, Malachi sent the whole room into darkness.

In the dark Jade's eyes glowed... "I want the lights ON!" The lights came on full blast. She rushed over to Tribe's side. She glanced at Lili, Jasmine and Feuer. "Don't you see this is wrong. That he had to weasel is way out of Tribe?"

((Man, you guys posted while I was typing!))
"Weasel? No, madam, I think you're mistaken. No weaseling has been done today." Least not with our seperation.... Well, maybe a little weaseling. "I mearly needed some borrowed energy so as not to hurt the girl in our seperation. Like I said before, she is weak. She can hardly support her own form as is." Malachi's eyes darkened. "And do not think that this is a new occourance. I have been a crutch to her for longer than she has been at this academy." A little lie. Her situation's only been this bad for about half the time she's been here. And never before has her dammage been so... dramatic as tonight's apperance.
"Do you dare to think that you could seperate myself from the girl, and more, that you could help her yourselves? You can not help her with this. You're not like her. Look at what you've managed to do so far! You've driven her madness to new heights. Pumped raw, dark energy straight into her! Of all the stupid mistakes. And look what it has caused. One more mistake like that, and the dammage might not only fall on her head!" Malachi countered omeniously.
"Don't listen to him! There's nothing wrong with me! He's lying! Get him AWAY FROM ME!!!" Tribe thrashed wildly in her binds. Thin, whip-like shadows began to flow from her fingertips. Her hair became a mass of living shadows, flailing about around her head.
"If there's nothing wrong with you, my dear, then why do you hear the voices? The ones that arn't mine..." he wispered in her ear.
Suddenly, the voices came back, as Malachi forced her to remember.
You Murderer!
You know you can never be around these people! Just leave now! Run away before someone gets hurt again.
”No!!!!” Tribe screamed, tears forming in her eyes. “Make them stop! NO! NO! NO! NO!!!!!”
”You see?” Malachi said softly, putting a head on her forhead, effectivly silencing the voices. “I’m here to help you.”

Jade lept forward an a bright ray of light blasted Malchi away from Tribe. "You get away from her you bastard. You're making things worse."
Jasmine rushed over to Malachi, helping him up. "JADE, control yourself." She glared at Feuer "Aren't you going to do something."

Malachi seethed with anger. How DARE she? How DARE SHE?!?
He clenched his fists shut tight. He wanted nothing more than to teach this idiot girl a lesson. Rip her apart untill there was nothing left of her but bones. He wanted retribution.
And why not do it? I should do it! ...No, no... I have to remain in control. I have to stay by Cristina.
But that excuse would only hold him back for so much longer. He could feel the very nature of his being rising. And it showed in his form. The outline of his body became indiscriminate from the dark aura that pulsed freely around him. Jagged black ribbons jutted out of the aura, slicing into the wall that stupid girl had pushed him into. The white marks began to swarm around his skin again. In his neglect, he had let the barrier holding Tribe fall. But he couldn't see her at this point.
Tribe had never felt such a strong aura before, it almost hurt her skin as it's energy washed over her. She looked over at the shadow, realizing she was free to move again.
Why isn't he attacking?
She knew he wanted to. He wanted to so badly she could feel it. She almost wanted to hurt Jade herself, that's how strong the feelings were. But in the wake of such an awsome power, of such strong feelings, the voices and the madness didn't bother her. She could think clearly for the first time since... for a very long time.
Why isn't he hurting her?
Suddenly, she had a thought. It was possible, right? She could do it, right? So she did it. She let her shadow connect with the shadow's. She had to know why.
Malachi had learned to let the dark anger run free in his veins, barily contained, so it would fade. That was the only way he knew how to stop his own feelings from taking over. Not that he had reason to do this, often. The girl was the only reason he'd found so far. He never expected her to try and do something as foolish as willingly connect with him.
"Aah!" she cried out, in shock and fright. What she saw was awful. She couldn't drive the images, the feelings, from her mind. She bit down on her knuckel, hard. It was terrifying, feeling all of those things, those horrible things. She saw all the thousands of ways he was thinking of to harm Jade. She could sence the joy it would bring him if he could just see the regret in her eyes. Regret for ever messing with him.
But... he's not doing anything... If he wants to, why isn't he? What's holding him back.
Should I be holding back, Cristina? he asked, his thoughts going to her.
Yes! You shouldn't hurt her! She's just scared! Please, don't hurt her. Please don't hurt her...
I want to.
But you can't!
You saw what she did! She would deserve it...
She was only scared for my sake! Please! PLEASE don't hurt anyone because of me! Please!
Scared... Are you scared?
I'm terrified. I'm always scared now.
"I suppose that's my fault," Malachi said aloud, clenching his eyes shut. He put his hand to his head. His head felt like it was splitting wide open.
Tribe didn't reply, but she watched, unable to take her eyes away. He terrified her. But she couldn't look away.

Jasmine took a step back. She hoped that things wouldn't go bad...well worse then they were already.
Jade was breathing heavily, she had half the mind to drain that bastard dry. But she knew that would be bad. Her eyes were burning brightly and her appearance was even more ghostly. I could kill him, he is a danger to anyone around him....my life is a small price to pay to get rid of him. SHe was shaking with anger now.

The dark aura around Malachi disapated, and the bleached marks on his skin started to fade as well. He straightened up, ignoring Jade. He spoke to Jasmine.
"What's you're decision, my Queen?" Malachi asked. His head still hurt like hell, but he pushed the pain to the back of his mind. He had other things to focus on. "Am I allowed to stay? I've done nothing wrong, yet. Though your little prince and princess have given me ample reason to. As for the girl's fears... We have had our differences in the past. I want to help her now. We've all done things here that draw this" He guestured at Jade, but his eyes were on Tribe. "...kind of reaction out of people. Surely, if you can overlook your own then you can overlook mine."
He paused for a moment, then extended a black hand to Tribe. "So, what do you say?"
"Do you expect me to trust you?" Tribe muttered, batting away his hand. "You tried to kill me!"
"Water under the bridge, my dear!" Malachi grinned, pleased that she was no longer screaming her lungs out. Though he could not, for the life of him, figure out why. What had he done to prove he wasn't going to kill her (which is why he figured the screaming started in the first place) on the spot? Logic finally kicked in? Doubtful.
He had time to figure that out later though. Right now, what was important was taking advantage of this new development.
"Why don't we just start on a fresh page? After all, I'm not going to take to being called "Shadow" anymore. So you can just pretend I'm a stranger! How's that sound?"
"Like I don't have a choice," Tribe rubbed her aching head.
"Well, I don't suppose you do..." Malachi told her honestly. "I'm staying wether you like it or not."
(((Appologies for crappyness. I'm on meds... @_@ I'll make it up some other time.)))

"Please do not be rude to me for Jade's actions." Jasmine glanced over at Jade and her face became cat-like again. "Jade, if you do not stop right now I will be forced to take action." She sighed, this is not what she needed right now. "I appologize for all this Malachi, hopefully this will not become a grudge."
Jade shook her head and swore under her breath. She walked over to a cot and sat down, folding her arms. She really hated that man, but it seemed Jasmine was taking his side and Feuer was just being stupid.
