((Don't mind the title... I'm just expressing my distaste for Lit. Homework... and my English teacher, for that matter.))
Aiden Was in the Library. Of course he was. It was where he had spent most of the time here at the Twilight Academy. Not Because he was a nerd, Even though he did enjoy reading. Not Because he needed help understanding Homework or anything; He Hadn't attended a single class. No, Aiden Black was Searching Frantically for a book that might just explain what was going on in his life; Some Odd phenomenon that had sent him shooting back into the First Decade of the Millennium; A time that had previously only existed in History Books, About seven years ago, Before the shift, As Aiden had Decided to label it. It sounded like a good sort of thing to Call the force that had Brought you fifty years back in time.
Needless to Say, Aiden probably did seem like the Crazy book nerd of the Academy to those that didn't know him... Which was everyone at the time. He Had made sure that almost every single second was spent on The frantic search for one Book, One paper, one single piece of Literature that might be able to Take him Back home, and every single second was spent in vain. Almost Seven Years he had Waited... And It looked as if he'd be waiting for a bit longer. He sat on his knees on the Carpeted floor of the Library, Pulling out books From the Bottom Shelves and Sifting through them, Finding to his distaste that they held information on Natural Science or Grammar and throw them aside, careless about how or where the Book landed.
With a scowl, The Boy lifted himself off the ground, feeling his knees pop from the release of pressure. He grabbed his bag Off the Ground and slung it over his left shoulder, Preparing to leave the isle to travel to the next. It was a long process that would probably take a year or so, But Aiden figured that it needed to be done, if ever he wanted to Go Home, Back to his own time... Country.... Hemisphere. 'This sucks.' He whispered to himself as he Turned into the next isle, Dropping his bag carelessly and Dropping to his knees again. 'I'm Probably wasting my time.' His odd accent pushed it's way through his mumble, and even an Idiot could tell that he was From Somewhere in the United Kingdom. Anyone could in this Day and Age, It was those Harry Potter Books. Aiden had, of course, Read them when he was still in his own time, when they had been out for over sixty years and 'Only Nerds wasted their time Reading old books like them.' It was like reading the Lord of the Rings in this Time, Or something like it.
He began to look through the first, second, third book, until he was sucked into a Mesmerizing pattern that kept him thoroughly concentrated; enough to not even notice the other being in close proximity.
