Malachi became a shadow where he lay on the dock and reapeared in front of Zander. With an elaborate bow which seemed to come off as more mocking than respectful, Malachi said, "My name is Malachi. And according to the people here, I'm a shadow bender. I won't claim to know alot about why your powers affect me like they do, but I will give you one warning." Malachi's eyes flashed dangerously. "Stay. Away. From the other shadow here."

With a mocking Bow, the Shadow introduced himself. "My name is Malachi. And according to the people here, I'm a shadow bender. I won't claim to know alot about why your powers affect me like they do, but I will give you one warning. Stay. Away. From the other shadow here."
'Such ominous Advice,' Zander Started. 'Why Should I beware the other Shadow?' He wondered. Was this other Shadow Even More Dangerous and Hostile? Were they ruthless and vain? Were they a Conceited sociopath who truely believed that their work would beneifit the world? The perfect Antagonist.
yeah, He had gone a bit too far with the wondering there, but He was a creative sort of person, too. Random, Imaginitive, and Morbid. Three words that described Zander Song Perfectly.

"She's not anywhere near as bad as I am, if that's what you're thinking. Remember that little girl you told me about? The one in a movie theatre? Well, imagine for a moment that that girl was already a paraniod schizophrenic. Now add you into the mix."
Malachi let that sink in for a minute, then said, "If that's not enough of a reason, the first boy who came around her ended up blind, and the second almost died. Not that it was her fault, by the way."

'So.. She just can't control it?' He asked. 'What's her name? So I can... Avoid her, as you advise.' he couldn't die at the moment, But He valued his eyesight, and really didn't feel like loosing it any time soon. 'I'll Just have to be... Careful, I guess.' He stated with a small shrug.

"No, paranoid schizophrenics usually CAN'T control the fact that they're crazy, no. For fear incarnate, you don't know much about your affects on people, do you? Her problems stem from a tramautic past, and it's that that gets her, but fear sets it off."
He moved over closer to the water's edge. He could hear the way she screamed in his mind. Her screams were the only he didn't enjoy hearing. "Her name is Cristina, but she goes by Tribe. She has dark hair and pale skin. She often does shadowy things, so she's not hard to miss. She's not a hard person to avoid. But if you have so much as one little slip up..." He turned to the boy and smiled as if he was telling him good afternoon. "I'll make sure it's me you're thinking of when you see a disembowelment."

That wasn't excactly what he meant, but He understood What Malachi Was Saying. And it was true; He really had no idea about what he did to people, and what he couold do. For all of his life, his was Locked up in his home, Isolated from society for their, and his, well-being, as if he had never exsisted. He never really had that much... experience with His Ability, or anything, for that matter. That was probably why he was a 'weird kid', He was never part of any sort of Culture, So he grew up With his own influence on how he should be.

He said, closing his book and tossing it Towards the solid ground; It landed Spine up about a third of a meter away from a black backpack at the trunk of the oak. He noticed his bookmark had fallen out and was laying a bit further away in the grass, but he didn't care that he had lost his place; It wasn't as if he hadn't read the book already.

"But let's not let that put a damper on our...friendship, shall we?" This boy ammused him to no end. "Now that I think about it," he said, after an extended moment. "Maybe Hannibal by Tom Harris may be more up your alley. Or maybe The Silence of the Lambs? Also by Tom Harris. Both dreadfully good books."

Friendship... was that what it was? The last time Zander had a Friend was... Before he was bit; nine years ago. Zander smiled at the thought, But also at the Book Recomendations. 'I've... Heard of them,' He Admitted. 'But Never read them.' He Hadn't read many great books, as a matter of fact. There was no way for him to Leave the house and buy books he wanted to, so he was censored to only those he could find in his house; Mostly Girly romance novels that he didn't even bother with. That was basically the reason why he had read so little books. 'I'll Read them.' He promised, Swinging his legs over the branch so He sat up, both legs dangling over the water.
((*sigh* needs to go to bed. My mum's being in a bad mood today, and won't let me stay up past ten, which it is. cya!))

Malachi looked over his sholder at the boy. "What time is it?" he asked simply and breifly. He should probably go back soon, just to make sure nothing bad happened.

Zander looked at the watch that hun on his Arm, reading it with a frown. 'About.... Three in the morning.' he answered him, surprised that he had been out so late.

"Vampire or not, you're still a kid. Go to bed," Malachi ordered lightly as he stood up and began walking back to the school.

Zander gave a hallow laugh at the Statement, but Swung His Legs over the Branch and stood up in one sweeping motion, Holding his arms out for balance as he Walked to solid ground, Jumping off the branch as soon as he Got a reasonable distance away from The Water. 'Whatever. I sleep enough during the day.' He debated, Taking a few long strides to catch up with Malachi.

"Sshhhh...." Malachi wispered softly, walking slowly with his eyes closed. After a few more silent steps, his eyes shot open wide. "Da mn..." he swore, his dark eyes shoting open. "She's having nightmares."

'She?' Zander repeated softly with a raised eyebrow. She... as in the Other Shadow? Tribe? If she was having nightmares... Normally, when Zander heard that someone was having bad dreams, He blamed himself out of pure habit. 'She... As in Tribe?' he whispered inquizitively.

"Yes." Malachi told him, though not admonitionly, as he would have if any other had asked the question. "She often has nightmares. But it's not your fault, if that's what you're thinking."
He strolled calmly through the woods that lay between the campus and the lake. "I don't like it when she has nightmares, but it's nothing to worry about," he admitted, uncharastically.
