"I'm sorry!" Tribe immediatly appologized, looking down at the gore around her. She could hardly believe she'd done that. It wasn't like her, to just kill things like that. She hadn't thought twice before deciding to kill the little pests. That wasn't like something she would do. That was like something he would do! But she had been the one to do it. Was she becoming like him?
"Shame on you!" he feigned shock. Inwardly, he knew what was going on in Tribe's head, and he was proud. Just one more step towards me, darling.[/i]
"Shut up and help me, you..." She was so shocked at her own behavior that she couldnt' even think of a good insult. She just leaned down and began collecting the little carcasess, heads and all.
To her great supprise, Malachi actually did lean down and help her. She shot him a questioning glance, and he grinned lightly back. His grin almost made him seem... normal. But she quickly shrugged it off and remindeded herself what a monster he was.

Chaos nodded, putting her hand eye level for James she made the flame grow, then it turned to ice, before becoming a sphere of water. She grinned evily and splashed the water into James face before turning her attention to the arguement that was going on.

James watched with interest as the fire in her palm changed iwht form, finally settling on water before she splashed in in James' face. Water=bad.
James felt the pain before the water even touched his skin. Maybe it was his brain bracing himself for the pain that was undoubtly about to occur. as the water hit him, He doublt over, cluthing his face. he didn't scream, or cry, but he stood there, swearing madly. 'What the hell?!" He exclaimed. It was a good thing the water burned him without leaving a mark, as fire didn to most. It just hurt. WIth a scowl, he composed himself. Sure, Choas would probably be delighted to see his pain, But she coulnd't be blamed- She didn't know that would happen.

Feuer missed what happened but when he saw James clutching his face his face was just barely concerned. It was Jade or Jasmine's job to worry. "You okay kid?" He shot an evil glance at Chaos, who just shrugged and cocked her head slightly

James shrugged it off. 'er... yeah,' He replied, feeling a bit embarrassed at his reaction. But water hurt. To him, it was like she had just set him on Fire. the Chemical infection screwed him up more than it was obvious. 'It's just... I'm fine.' He really couldn't explain what happened. He never could.

"What do we do with them?" Tribe asked Malachi softly. "I didn't mean to..."
"Yes you did and you very well know it. Don't pretend you didn't know what you were doing," his voice wasn't as harsh as his words. "And I say we bury them. What else do you do with dead things?"
"...Alright." She hated to admit it, but Malachi was right, on both counts. She drug the snakes' little dead bodies over to a row of bushes that wasn't far from the building. "Here?"
Malachi answered by digging the hole for her, using his own shadow hands to pull up the earth around the roots. "Kill the snakes, feed the plants."
Is he actually trying to cheer me up? Tribe wondered to herself.
"Come on, don't cry over it." Malachi quickly burried the snakes after she threw them into the hole. "What's with the new kid? You get new people here this often?"
"Yeah, we do, and he's a pyro. I don't remember catching a name though..."
"Let's go ask him then!" Malachi dragged a blood-stained Tribe back over to where the others were. "What's you're name, runt?" he asked the boy.

"What's you're name, runt? someone said from behind James. He turned around. He and Tribe were both horribly bloodstained, something that was, again, kind of weird. Just.... weird. 'James,' He answered Curtly, Not Bothering to add in his Last name. He never did, It didn't matter. WHo cared about a last name, anyways?
James tried to remember the name of the person talking to him. He remembered it being said once or twice prior... 'And yours?' He asked.

Chaos looked at Malachi, she didn't like that man for some reason. After living on the streets she could be a good judge of character. She glared at him with eyes that were dancing with fire.

"James, huh? Just James?" he asked. "That's kind of... dull. Don't you think?"
"Don't be a jerk. Hello James, again. You know, if you really just wanted to, you could change your name. That's what I did. I mean, who want's to go around being called 'Cristina'?" she made a face, then smilled at him. The smile might have come off as nice, if not for the gore splattered around it.
Tribe caught something out of the corner of her eye. Chaos was glaring at Malachi. Not good...
"I don't believe we've met, madam," he said, smiling just as sweetly as Tribe. His intentions, however, mirrored the gore around him, and the darkness in his eyes. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Malachi. Often refered to in the past as the omnious 'shadow'. You must be Chaos."

'Er... I think I'll Stick with James, For the time Being.' He answered Awkwardly. his tone wasn't rude, or anything, just... sort of meek. He felt sort of... out of place, at the moment. For the longest time, he was the only Person he knew that had any special oddity, and now that he was talking with a group of other infectees, He felt really... unexperienced.

"Never heard of ya. What is somelike you doing here?" Chaos's voice was full of mistrust. She glanced at the spot were the snakes were buried, she could have fun later. Returning her gaze to Malachi she looked at his blood cover shirt. "Gonna tell you straight out. I don't trust you. Been on the streets long enough to be able to pick out a lier and a scumbag."

"Madam! I am insulted!" Malachi's expressed the shock on his face, while still maintaining his grin. "Scumbag, I am not!"
"But you're a liar."
"I suppose I won't argue with you there, my dear..." he admitted defeat with a sigh and a grin. "But maybe you could rethink your first impressions? Maybe some time when I'm not covered in snake guts? That's her fault by the way." He pointed to Tribe.
"Hey!" she spouted at Malachi, who just laughed in return. She looked over at James again, not wanting to look at either of the two in front of her. She was still ashamed about what she'd done to the snakes. "You ok James?" she asked, seing the boy's lost look.

"Perhaps, but I doubt it." Chaos looked over at James. This kid seemed really lame for someone who had been a street kid.

"Maybe I deserve another chance?" he said, his attention solely on Chaos. "The others seemed to think so."

"You ok James?"
the question was just enough to Shake James out of his reviere. 'er... yeah.' He looked towards Tribe, who was the one he was sure had addressed him.
Choas looked over towards James, And Her expression Seemed to reflect her distaste.
