During the various arguements Feuer had slipped away. THis was too much for him. He had gone and told Jasmine about the goings on.
Jasmine walked down the steps of the school. "I heard that many little snakes have been killed." She glared at Chaos, assuaming it was her. Then she turned to JAmes. "Hello, I am Jasmine, the headmistress here. I hope that my staff's inadequate ability to welcome people and the horrible behavior of some of the students hasn't changed you impression of coming here." She smiled kindly at the boy.
Chaos opened her mouth to protest the look but thought that it wouldn't do any good. She coninued to glare at Malachi, because tequnically it was his fault.

"Do I really look that bad?" Tribe was begining to feel self consious. With quick shake, she suddenly became misty, like steam floating apart. Small drops of blood fell to the ground where her feet had once been, and where they rematerialized again in an instant. "There. That better?" She was completely devoid of blood now. She smiled at him again.
"I'm sorry James. We haven't done much in the way of making you welcome, have we? I hope you stay. We're really nice people... kinda... Well, we have good intentions... most of us, anyways..." That last part was aimed at Malachi. "At any rate, you atleast don't have to worry about being too weird!" She grinned at him. "That's my job! I mean, you couldn't take the weird award in this place if you tried. We're just a bunch of oddballs!"
She was trying her hardest to make a good second impresstion. The combination of her guilt and the boy's apperance had made her extremely sensitive to the fact that he was feeling uncomfortable. She wanted to do whatever she could to make him feel welcome here.

"Hey! Don't glare at me because of YOUR mistakes!" Malachi snickered. Sure, it wasn't Chaos' fault, but if someone was set up for the blaim, no harm (to him) in letting them take it.

Chaos glared at him and muttered some very dirty words just loud enough for him to hear. She couldn't wait until she was alone with him.
Jasmine smiled at Tribe, glad that someone was trying to make a good impression. After what had happened in the medical ward Jasmine hadn't seen much of Tribe. "See James, not everyone here is rude and uncaring."

'er...' James really had nothing to say to this. He felt like he was being treated like he was five years old or something, and he didn't take much likeing to that. So, instead, he decided on focusing on different matters. 'How did you know my name?' he asked her without any real interest.

Jasmine smiled kindly. "I won't lie, for about 3 days I've been following you. In many different animal forms. Just to make sure you made it somewhere safe."

James was shocked, but didn't let his expression voice it. It kind of Creeped him out, but.... Whatever. 'Well, I... Guess i did?' he assumed, though he wondered how safe this place really was, with people like Malachi and Chaos, Whom James was certain already hated him.

I screwed up... she slowly relized. That was... really stupid... of course it jsut made him feel worse! I screwed up... She could feel the world dimming out.
She could hear those little sounds in the back of her head, like the claws and teeth of tiny rats desperatly searching for some release from their prision. She noticed them sometimes, but not very often. Whenever she could just start to her them, they were usually blacked out. Malachi, or someone else, would usually draw her attention back to the real world. But this time, noone was paying attention, and she couldn't help but listen. She wanted to know...
"Madam, I hate to say it, but people like you really shouldn't..." He was about to play the role of the "higher-than-tho" gentelman, when he felt something. He could hear Jasmine buys talking with the new kid, and Chaos still cursing him under his breath, but he could hear something else too. It's like the sound of a thousand tiny scratches against glass... He focused in on the sound, he was too far away to recognize it, at first.
"Cristina!"
Tribe was rocking precariously on her feet, her hands gripping the side of her head. Her eyes were clenched tight shut. Black tears streaked her pale skin from between closed eyelids. Oh god, why had she listened?
"make it stop. no,no, no. make it stop..." she chanted softly, her throught clenching shut tight. "i didn't mean to... i didn't want to... no, No, NO, N-"
A hand clamped down on her mouth before she could scream as Malachi dragged her back, and out of Jasmine's eyesight.
Malachi fought to get her back under control. He'd slipped up. He shouldn't have been so worried about that worthless Chaos person, and focused on Cristina, a mistake he swore then and there not to make twice.
make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, PLEASE, make it stop!
"It's alright," he wispered in her ear and in her mind as he pulled her down to the ground, one hand on her mouth and the other wrapped around her to keep her from fighting him. "I'm here. I've got them."
Slowly, he pulled her back from that place within herself. She slumped limply against him before becomming fully consious again. She looked up at him, disorented from the attack.
"It's alright, they're gone."
"I'm sorry..." she wispered, his hand still resting lightly over her lips and muffeling her voice. She paused for a moment before pulling out of his saving grasp and standing up.
"Don't be."

"I'm just glad you got somewhere and that you came here before the others got ot you." Jasmine shook her head sadly. "They have gotten to many already." She sighed and looked around for Tribe. "Are you okay?"

No, I'm not OK! she yelled in her mind. I just had another attack!
"Yes, I'm fine..." she told Jasmine softly, not meeting her eyes. ...thanks to Malachi.
Why do I have to be the messed up one? I don't have it any worse off than any of the others. Why do I have to be the one to get messed up in the head? Why do I have to be the weak one?! she demanded to know angerly. She brushed her sleave roughly over her cheeks, whiping away her tears.
You're not weak... Malachi told her. She could feel him close by, behind her. And for some strange reason, she found that comforting.
"I'm sorry, did I miss anything?" she asked, looking up at Jasmine. "Did you want something?"

Jasmine shook her head. She could tell something was wrong. What she would give to be a telepath. "Just wanted to see if you were okay. If you ever need to talk, I'm always avaible." She looked over at the spot where the snakes were buried. It didn't look very different from anyother spot, but she could tell something animal was there.
"and don't worry about the snakes. I know it was an accident." She smiled kindly and looked at Malachi's shirt with disgust. "Um...you have blood on you still."

"Thank you for pointing it out to me, my dear Queen," Malachi said, calling on his nickname for Jasmine. He phased much faster than Cristina, a shallow pool of blood gathering at his feet.
"Sorry," Tribe appologized again about the snakes, and about her shirt, and about Malachi's shirt, and about her attack, and about everything. She ahted this feeling, this feeling of being so weak, and so messed up.
"Calm down..." Malachi told her, feeling her emotions whelm up again. You don't have to talk to anyone, if you don't want to. He told her. I'll always be here to help you. And you don't care what I think about you, right? So you can just talk to me. I'll help you.
...Alright... She really didn't nkow how to reply to his offer. She still hated him, alot. He was still the monster that made her life a living hell for years. He could even be the cause of what was going on with her now....

((Ooh, I'll Join in. : D ))
Zander walked out of the Academy, Praying for a Cloudy Day. Looking up to the Sky, He Smiled at the sight of the Dark clouds covering the Sky, Pushing open the large oak doors. What he found outside was quite Interesting. Many people outside, Some with blood on their clothes, One unfamiliar.... or was he? Zander couldn't remember where he'd seen that face.
'What's going on?' He asked, walking up to the scene. He'd been at the Academy for about a year, so it's not like no one knew him or anything. "Who're you?' He asked the black-haired kid. he was about Zander's Age, but Zander called everyone kid.
